JOHN DAVID LANE, MD

A practicing radiologist since 1997

Dr. Lane is a board-certified, fellowship-trained radiologist specializing in interventional radiology. He earned his medical degree in 1991 from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine before completing an internship and diagnostic radiology residency at Madigan Army Medical Center, where he was Chief Resident. He then completed a fellowship in interventional radiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He practiced for five years at Walter Reed Army Medical Center serving as chief of interventional radiology in his last 2 years.

Prior to attending medical school, he earned undergraduate degrees in nuclear medicine technology and zoology from Western Illinois University. He is an active member of the American College of Radiology (ACR), the Radiologic Society of North America (RSNA), the Milwaukee Roentgen Ray Society, the American Roentgen Ray Society, Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) and the Society of Interventional Radiology. He has taught hands-on interventional radiology courses to colleagues at the annual RSNA meeting for over 20 years.

In his spare time Dr. Lane enjoys outdoor activities with his family, gardening, skiing and photography.
